Breeze through Southern Cebu

You may be a traveler in a hurry.  Many times in the past you just passed by Cebu's Southern tip.  Next time, get down from the bus and take a peek at the hidden treasures in Cebu's South.

Starting from the municipality of Malabuyoc,  just within the Poblacion, you can take a look not only at the centuries old church and kampanaryo, but also Aranzana Spring.

Ginatilan is the birthplace of the Saint Pedro Calungsod.

Samboan, with its beautiful Spanish-time church, has panoramic vistas of the seas and hills.

Santander has white sand beach in addition to its old baluartes or watch towers made from corral stones.

Oslob has its centuries old version of  "The Ruins"  of Ancient Greece.

Along the coast, going back to Cebu City, are quaint villages that picture the lives of simple Cebuano folk.
